In the behavioural approach to organisational transformation, leaders try to motivate or incentivise employees to behave in certain ways. Without a change in mindset, however, newly adopted behaviours won’t stick and results will suffer. On the other hand, organisations that foster the right foundational mindset are able to ensure that employees sustainably adopt those behaviours that drive desired results.
